How to Boost(Increase) RAM of your Android
Once a friend of mine asked me: How can I increase RAM of my Android? I searched the web and found these awesome methodes to boost up RAM of Android from SD Card.Have you too got an Android Device with a small amount of RAM. Don't worry, I am here to help you in the process by which you can modify your device by increasing the RAM memory by using micro SD memory card.
But this process works only when your device supports swapping feature.
You can increase the RAM of your Android by the following methods:
First method Using Mini tool partition wizard(free method):
Step 1)-Download mini tool partition wizard. Insert your SD Card in a card reader and connect it with PC for partitioning internal space within it.
-Download the Open Mini tool partion and install it on your PC.
-After that format your SD Card.
-Start partitioning by right clicking your SD card, set the partition as primary and file system as FAT32 for a memory card with maximum 4GB space.
-Spare about 1GB memory for next partition.
-Select done, click on Make partition option and select primary partition.
-change the file system to EXT2, EXT3 or EXT4.
-Select apply changes.
With this , your partition is completed.
Step2) Link with your rooted android device:
-Download Link2SD app from Playstore and install.
-Allow root permission for this app and select the .ext prtition.
-Begin with linking.
Step 3) Download Swapper for Root app from Playstore and install.
-Choose the quantity of RAM for increasing. This will generate a .swp file
Method 2:Using external application:
You can also use premium Roehsoft RAM Expander ( Swap) app to increase the RAM of your device. Follow the steps:
- Check the compatibility of your device with the app before downloading it by using a testing app Memory Info & Swapfile Check.
-Download Roehsoft RAM Expander app from playstore and install it.
-Click on Swap Active and Enable.
- After this go to the Grey Box and click Active Swap
Now your RAM has been increased and your SD card will act as RAM.
